Marysa will be directing the play The Dining Room at the Griffen Theatre on Lynde St. in Salem.

Wikipedia says, “The play is a comedy of manners, set in a single dining room where 18 scenes from different households overlap and intertwine. Presumably, each story is focused around a different family during different time periods who has in their possession the same dining room furniture set, manufactured in 1898.” (and wikipedia is never wrong).

From Donna -

Ever since Marysa worked backstage on John Fogle’s production of The Dining Room at Marblehead Little Theater in 2008, Marysa has had a vision to mount this show with an all high school cast.  She has worked relentlessly to make that vision come to life on the stage, even putting up all her own money to produce it.  Ali Brauner, Michael Angelli and T. J. Lamando are working as producers as well as performing along with a cast of talented, committed kids.  I hope you can join us for an enjoyable evening of theater.

The Griffen Theatre, owned and operated by Marysa’s friend Erik Rodenhiser, is a wonderful 62 seat theater located just off Washington St. in Salem.  We expect to sell out each performance so purchasing tickets in advance is strongly recommended.  Tickets will be available at a cost of $7.00 for students and seniors and $10.00 for adults.

You may order tickets by calling 781-595-6572.  Please leave your name, phone number, the performance date and time, as well as the number of tickets desired.

If you can only be there in spirit and prayer let me know.  I will try to save you a Playbill.  It just may become a collector’s item some day.
